Eco Tourism
The Sanctuary offers and excellent itinerary of tourist activates that can be built in various packages for tourist visiting the site. There is already an existing tourist base and it is possible to market the site if adequate facilities are created for eco-tourists
The tourist complex at the entry point will have boating facility, canteen, interpretation centre and night halt arrangement that will facilitate tourist activates and ensure footfalls of picnickers as well
Presently accommodation facilities are available at following places :
Forest Cottage at Dhodrukusum - 2 suites
Forest Cottage at Chourasimal - 2 suite
Forest Rest House at Deichuan - 2 suites
Besides the above, the Eco-tourism complex is being developed at Barkhandia
where 2 single suites and 4 double suites are being made for accommodation
for the nature lovers.

SANCTUARY ETHICS |
DO’S
- Treat this natural treasure with respect and love.
- Loud speakers, transistors, tape recorders and all such
devices are a major disturbance to the wild inhabitants
of the sanctuary, so utmost care should be taken to
maintain silence.
- Avoid being in close proximity to the animals. Maintain
a reasonable distance.
- Dress up in shuttle colored clothes that blend with the
forest. Avoid using bright clothing.
- Take necessary precautions to guard against forest fire.
- Always carry a first aid kit while visiting any wild
lands.
- Do not forget to keep some dry foods handy, incase you
get stuck in the wild for some unavoidable
circumstances

DON’TS
- Do not enter the sanctuary without a valid permit.
- Avoid use of polythene and plastics products in the
sanctuary.
- Do not disturb the wild animals either by eve teasing or
trying to feed them.
- Do not try to handpick any wild animal or plants of the
sanctuary.
- Do not get out of the vehicles while traveling in the
sanctuary.
- Do not drive in the sanctuary after sunset and avoid the
use of spotlights.
- Do not consume meat and liquor within a sanctuary.
- Maintain harmony with the local guide and take care not
to hurt the emotions and traditions of the local people.
